《土木工程专业英语》作为高等院校专业英语系列教材之一,充分结合了土木工程各专业的专业特点,并本着覆盖面广、知识面宽以及简单介绍前沿专业知识的原则进行编写。全书共分为五个单元:建筑结构、建筑材料、建筑施工、路桥隧道工程、土木工程项目管理。《土木工程专业英语》针对性较强,通过对各单元专业英语文献的阅读和练习,读者可基本掌握专业术语及专业知识的表达,为其阅读专业英语文献打下良好基础。另外,在每篇课文的后面还附有与本课题有关的阅读材料,供学生使用,以进一步提高学生的阅读能力,拓宽学生的专业知识视野。每篇课文后面均附有参考译文。主要内容包括:建筑基础、框架结构、钢结构、高层建筑结构、混凝土材料、钢材、新型建筑结构材料、基础施工方法、混凝土结构施工方法、钢结构施工方法、道路工程、桥涵工程、隧道工程、国际竞争性项目招标、施工成本估算、施工质量及全面质量管理、工程项目成本、时间及质量控制。

Bank)发起,在世界范围内针对FRP在土木与结构工程项目的应用,展开了广泛的调查研究。调查研究表明,尽管已有数量巨大的现场应用和试验室研究实践,但仍然没有能够在工程领域设置有关FRP韵课程,教学仍然滞后。根据研究结果的建议,为了改善这种现状,土木工程及其扩展项目应提供对FRP独特性能的充分培训,以便工程师能在设计和施工中确定。6.前景展望在未来的十年内,一些不经济的FRP应用将会消失。钢筋混凝土和预应力混凝土,似乎会面临来自于耐腐蚀钢筋和预应力钢筋的极大竞争压力。另一方面,发展经济有效结构的动力,也将从继承传统的结构形式和形状的桎梏中摆脱出来。FRP材料在未来的土木工程应用中,对FRP片材的设计和制造进行优化将成为关键。修补仍然是FRP的基本应用形式。但混合结构似乎也会引起人们很大的兴趣。研究机构将需对一系列FRP结构问题开展工作,这些问题包括上文所列的耐火性、耐久性、延展性、刚度问题。简言之,FRP将会被继续使用。而将来不再使用的,则是那些在使用方式和方法上效率差的误用材料。既然中国要在土木工程领域发展自己的FRP应用道路,就应该注意其他国家在这方面的缺陷和经验。在中国,用于地震后修复,似应是FRP*合理的应用。
