插图：With the government system reformation going on deeper, the functions of gov-ernment authorities were changed and their duty transferred from microscopicmanagement to macroscopic management. Therefore,in April 1989, the StatePharmaceutical Administration of China proposed to establish a kind of as-sociation for management of all China pharmaceutical machinery enterprisesas well as the whole industry, which was supported by the majority of associ-ated enterprises. So, approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, China Associa-tion for Pharmaceutical Equipment was set up in March 26, 1992. In 1998, thereformation went on even deeper, all government authorities responsible formanagement of different industries were cancelled, so the state pharmaceuti-cal management authority was no longer responsible for its due managementwork. Then China Association for Pharmaceutical Equipment took up the dutyto act as a bridge between the government and the pharmaceutical equipmententerprises in accordance with all laws and regulations of the government aswell as its own disciplines and carried out government policies, so as to pushforward the advancement of China pharmaceutical machinery. So far ChinaAssociation for Pharmaceutical Equipment has made great contributions to themodernization of China pharmaceutical industry.
