马基雅维利（Niccolo Machiavelli，1469—1527），意大利佛罗伦萨共和国时期的历史学家、政治思想家、作家，除政治学著作《君主论》（1513）之外，还著有军事学著作《战术论》（1520）、史学著作《论李维》（1513）和8卷本《佛罗伦萨史》（1525）等。 导读注释者：唐敏，女，毕业于复旦大学英美语言文学专业，副编审，现任复旦大学出版社外语分社社长，在CSSCI来源期刊、学报等发表文章3篇，参编教材《听力随身练（新版）》（上下册），翻译过《战后欧洲史》、《凡·高书信全集（第二卷）》等。
