作者简介

     郭秉文(1880—1969),字鸿声,江苏江浦人, 1908年赴美留学,1914年获哥伦比亚大学教育学博士学位;先后任南京高等师范学校教务主任、校长和东南大学校长。他是在国际舞台上*为活跃的中国教育家。
