本书基于元话语广义人际模式以及狭义反身模式,提出适用于学术论文写作语篇的元话语分类模式,即元语篇、信息引导式以及人际互动式元话语的三维分类模式。其中,每一维度都是一个层级体,体现元话语在篇章中的不同功能。基于此模式尝试探究中国理工科博士生英语学术写作元话语的使用特征,及其与相关领域英文期刊论文中元话语的使用差异。
